Went over to see Trudi today.
When a friend tells you that they have pneumonia, it certainly has some impact, so was worried on the drive over. I was very relieved to see her cheery smile when I arrived (antibiotics to the rescue methinks). We chatted all afternoon and I had a lovely time. Thanks Trudi.

Claire, I think you'll find that pneumonia if caught early and the person is usually fit and healthy is easily treated at home with antibiotics. It's not unusual to get secondary infections after the flu like bronchitis which can easily lead to pneumonia. It just felt like I had the flu all over again, high temp, shivers, aches and sore chest when breathing. I'm mending now as the antibiotics are working well :-)
You know Di, when I read Trudi's description about your visit, I believe I feel a bit unwell too.
