Had a short session with Anky on the lunge this morning, much looser again. We finished with a short session in-hand and her walk was much more purposeful and the lateral work ( shoulder-in and leg yield ) was much more fluid.

Very stylish with your custom made fly fringes! I too always hated those goodbyes. Now that my parents aren't around anymore, it's as though they are still there in England (in my mind), I just don't see them as often.
that's a good happy pic! mind, jim looks as though he'd rather have a western saddle underneath him, LOL, how relaxed he is.

Claire, we have a Bates aussi stock saddle. It's rather nifty but Jim likes Corkys dressage saddle.
I hate saying goodbye to my parents!!!There was a time when I couldn't wait to get away from them.
